One of the most vulnerable times in a woman’s life is when she begins to menstruate.
Girls often drop out of school when they start menstruating. Lack of access to hygiene supplies and education strip girls and women of dignity and are linked to vulnerabilities to human trafficking, child marriage, teen pregnancy, and lifelong poverty. Wunders is working to change this reality.
Wunders Kenya
In June 2024, Wunders Kenya started its third year of operations. We have distributed more than 2,500 kits since we began distributions in 2021. Wunders has equipped girls and women in Kenya, Togo, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burundi, and Ethiopia.
